While in Berlin for Frontiers Health 2019, our CEO and founder, Roberto Ascione, has been interviewed with Henrik Matthies, MD at health innovation hub, and Julian Braun, Healthcare legal counsel at Heartbeat labs, by Ruggiero Corcella, journalist at the Corriere della Sera Salute, one of the leading Italian newspaper, on the recent approval of the Digital Healthcare Law (DVG) in Germany.

The article focused on the Digital Therapeutics and the recently approved "Digitale Versorgung Gesetz" (DVG), that will guarantee access (through a doctor's prescription and reimbursement) to these new therapeutic opportunities designed to significantly improve health care, optimizing costs.

"The law [DVG] brings Germany to the top of Europe as a possibility of develop digital health. France has moved forward, in a less striking way, by regulating telemedicine and the associated digital therapies since last January. The NHS - the British National Health Service - had already done so. Therefore, Italy remains one of the most important European countries where this game has not yet had an institutional response". Said Roberto to Ruggiero Corcella.
